Where there is no vision the people perish,vision is the compass of life,the direction pointer that actually gives colour and direction to life,What most Africa countries lack is vision, most of our leaders are in self enrichment, people impoverishment mission, hence the underdevelopment in our land.
Most annoying is that most of them(Leaders and business owners) usually fail to equip themself with quality plan,which is actually asubset of vision. If anybody rush into leadership he will perform woefully and altimately disgrace, himself, his family,nation, continent and the whole world.
5 SURE WAY TO VISION
1. Ask what do my peolpe want: Leadership has been described as the act of helping followers to achieve a worthwhile, here we have some key words:
ACT: Leadership is in action,it is a work and not a pleasure as usually being wrongly percieved by most people,it is a service and it takes only people with exceptional mindset of serving to make a good leaders.
HELP: As earlier mentioned leadership mantle is actully a called to service, not to be served,true leaders need to understand this as being Manager,Ruler,Boss... may not neccesary qualify a person as a leader
THE WORTHWHILE GOAL: What are we out to achieve, could you imagine a football game without a goal poost? the goal of a nation or a firm must be defined and everyone must be made to susribe to the goal.We must be goal focus, or else we will fight like a person that's beating the air.
Great nations/Corporation of the world are wise at crafting auducious vision for themselves and know how to make their citizen or workers to buy into it. Money making must not becloud us we must also have personal vision in the next issue i will continue on how to generate a vision.
